Spotlight InterviewsOLD INTERVIEWS:
(Excerpt of L.I. Magazine Interview)
Lady Ingenuity Magazine: What are some of the highs and lows of being a writer in the public eye? Stacy: The highs for me would be the opportunity to share my work with others.I love writing but I mainly do it for the public. It wouldn ’t make sense to write and not share it with the world.Another high is the satisfaction I get from following my dream. I entered this business on my own without handouts or contacts. I am very proud of what I accomplished.I also enjoy being a role model (least I ’ve been told)for other writers. The low for me is the jealousy you encounter in the business. Many people pretend to support you while they are really jealous of your accomplishments. It ’s terrible to learn that someone you thought was on your side really isn ’t.This has taught me to stay at arms-length with people in this business.
